Covers a lot of different paces extremely well, is very propulsive (not bouncy, but it returns energy well), and is much more protective for longer road efforts than the Speed 3. It’ll more than handle your tempo and MP workouts.

Personally I think there are much better option for the same price. I don’t think I’ll ever try an ON running shoe again. Witherpixel • E. Speed/Shift, Mach 4, Alphafly, Novablast, Aurora BL • 3 yr. ago. I think Ons are a great lifestyle shoe. The only model that I would trust to run in would be the cloudflyer.Just wondering why people are still sleeping on Skechers. So I’ve run almost exclusively in Skechers since about 2017 and ever since the release of hyperburst I honestly never thought I’d run in another brand again. Yeah my retired running shoes usually turn into casual/walking shoes. Some running shoes do work well for walking and casual use but, for me, most don't. I think running shoes with toe drops of more than 6mm feel awkward for walking. I find that the Mach 5 is much more durable than the 4 and still comfortable. I plan on taking them to 500 while using the new ones on my longer runs. But I took the ones at 400 out for 15 miles Saturday and they still felt great! The Altra Lone Peak (and Altra models in general) are inherently pretty stable due to their wide "Foot Shape" platform. Speedgoat 4 and Speedcross 4 have good moderate medial support. Brooks caldera 5 lacks support and are more for oversupinators, but are great in cushion.Nike offers a student discount, not substantial but it’s better than nothing. For your purposes I would recommend a Pegasus 37 or 38. The outsole is going to hold up pretty well and the foam is pretty durable as well.Hi there! Using r/RunningShoeGeeks.1. AlzardHK. • 3 mo. ago. Got Superblast recently and it is a different beast from NB3 and Nimbus 25. While Superblast had a firmer step in feel, the cushioning is superb and responsive. It is light on foot, similar to NB3. Nimbus 25 is much more heavy to my personal taste.I hate my Pegasus 38s (so far) Reading the reviews from the 37s one of the issues were the loose heel and I personally dont think theyve fixed it. Ive had 3 runs with mine and Ive always had to dial down the lacing to a T. It also feels flat on the midfoot area, maybe a pair of insoles will fix that for me.Fulton Insoles: I tried a million brands of insoles and these are 8. 8 comments. PhoSheez • 2 yr. ago. I like Balega Hidden Comfort for a little cush, and Darn Tough makes a nice ultra-lightweight sock. I'm told Feetures make a great sock, but I haven't tried them yet, primarily because my Balegas and Darn Tough socks just last forever. Bondi and Bondi X are soft and cushioned but not very responsiv

It's a gimmick -- a beautiful and expensive gimmick. For running, the On "clouds" are very firm and stiff, and yet provide little energy return. Plus their pods just collect rocks and debris if you go off-road at all. If you are looking for a beautiful urban lifestyle shoe, I recommend them. 14. EDIT: V2 will be an ounce lighter and 40mm stack height.

Haven't seen the pulsar trail pro 2 so gonna have to check it out! Yeah the dragonfly xc is gonna be an exciting shoe for a lot of XC runners. RoadTrailRun has a video of it on their YouTube channel. It's mostly just an upper update, but that's what I heard the most complaints about so it'll be interesting. Nimbus 25: First of: It’s very comfortable. An issue with comfortable shoes in the past is the amount of fabric around the heel. It’s been alot (I’m looking at you Triumph 18 and bondi 7), and they could become warm in heated weather. Nimbus has a great amount of fabric being this type of shoe, but not too much.40% off Adidas for T-Mobile Customers. 81 upvotes · 147 comments. r/RunningShoeGeeks.…
