Used dealerships often advertise free supercharging based solely on the model year which is not correct. In terms of value, it's not worth very much. I have an older Model S and pay for supercharging. The vast majority of my charging is at home, so it only comes in for road trips which is maybe once a year. Sometimes I’d just go sit in the car and play it in my garage. This was one of our covid “special” activities with the kid. We don’t have a game system in the house (iphone games are entertaining enough for me), so when we were bouncing off the walls too much, a 30-60 min CatQuest break was a huge treat.I don't think this is true, since the maximum range ratio doesn't vary in the "overshoot" scenario. In other words, whether charging to 80% or 83% the mileage fraction will still indicate a max range of—for example—300 miles. Your vehicle's reported state of charge is just an estimate given by the BMS.Big Bend National Park has a max posted speed limit of 45mph. This seemed to work in my favor from an efficiency and accuracy standpoint. Almost any park destination requires elevation change. It was fun to watch my range increase!
