Polaris ranger 570 valve adjustment
I just checked my valve clearances on my 2015 570. The manual states that the intakes should be .006" +/- .002". Mine are at .004", at the bottom of the spec but still within tolerance. The manual states the exhaust valve clearances shout be .008" =/- .002".A throttle plate stop screw is used to ensure the plate is completely sealed during idle. It should not be held open to adjust idle. An idle screw bypasses enough air past the closed throttle plate to sustain idle.
