Oct 17, 2022 · As an update to my earlier post, I’ve never had any issues with the rechargeable batteries or chargers with either the Jabra or Philips aids. The Philips HearLink 9030 is available in a version that takes 312 zinc air batteries if you prefer that. I’m not aware of the Jabra being offered with zinc air batteries. The BTE hearing aid is placed both behind and in the ear. The shell of the hearing aid rests behind the ear and is connected by a thin tube or wire to the earpiece that fits in the ear. There are various earpieces available for your selected BTE hearing aid, both customized earmolds and instant fit earpieces, often called domes.Costco’s most significant selling feature is the price. While most hearing aids cost an average of $2,000 per ear, Kirkland hearing aids cost as little as $1499 for a pair and come with free warranties and loss/damage coverage, as well as a free Costco hearing test, free hearing aid cleanings, follow-up appointments, and checkups.
