Manor house and its surroundings
Built in the XVIII century manor house is located in Czartolom in the midst of woods (many of its trees are actually classified as natural monuments) and offers a uniquely relaxing atmosphere. The residence was purchased by the Rekowski family in 1997 and has been incrementally renovated since. It is on one hand our home and on the other hand parts of it are turned into a cozy comfortable guesthouse surrounded by 6ha of park along with a pond and a nearby garner. From its top of the hill location it overlooks a picturesque, seemingly endless uninhabited hilly area favored by the native deer, cranes and storks. Further on, a wall of old forest, Zaborski National Park, limits the horizon. Variety of the local landscape is additionally complemented by a couple of crystal clear lakes-the closest of hem Jezioro Niedzwiedz (Bear Lake) is in the walking distance of 2 km from the house.
